2009 ACS NSQIP Annual Conference

We are excited to announce that Dr. Mark Chassin, President of The Joint Commission, is our Keynote Speaker for the 2009 Annual Conference.
Please continue to check our website in the coming months for more updates regarding the program details and conference agenda. Registration for the conference will be opening in late March, 2009.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel for July 17, 2009 - July 22, 2009. The special room rate for conference participants starts at $229.00 plus tax and will be available until June 28th or until the room block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Call for Abstracts
DEADLINE: December 19, 2008
Who - Health care professionals at ACS NSQIP participating hospitals.
- Up to 10 Coauthors allowed.
What - 250-maximum-word abstract that presents a concise summary of research done or in progress. Research should relate to surgical quality improvement initiatives or the development, implementation, or validation of best practices.
- Title must be brief.
- Body of abstract must include Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
- One-page table may be submitted separately if absolutely necessary, and table does not count toward the word total.
When - Abstracts accepted until December 19, 2008.
- Final decision February, 2009 (primary author will be contacted.)
